Cupcake:
The cupcake is a cookie of English origin, its original name is fairy cake, in Portuguese fairy cake. However, after becoming famous in the United States it was named cupcake because its recipe is made using cups as a measure. 


Hot Dog:

In 1904, in the American city of St. Louis, the German Anton Feuchtwanger sold hot sausages during an exhibition and to prevent his customers from burning their hands, serving the sausages and providing a glove for them to use. The problem is that many of the customers did not return the gloves, which began to hurt their business. Thinking of a way to solve the problem, he remembered talking to his brother-in-law, who was a baker, and together they made the long-brewed sausages. The "format" of our hot dog was thus invented.

Pizza:

At the beginning of its cultural trajectory, the pizza only had the addition of herbs from the region and the traditional olive oil, common in this dish in its conventional format. The Italians took the fame to add the use of the tomato - newcomer of America by the hands of the Spaniards -, that would become essential in the elaboration of this delicacy. It remained to the pizza to conquer its definitive format, because it was still produced as the present calzone and the sandwich, that is, folded in the middle.

Churros:

Churros is a food of Iberian origin, very popular in Latin American countries. This sweet is prepared with dough based on wheat flour and water, in a cylindrical shape and fried in vegetable oil. Soon after, it can be sprinkled with a layer of sugar on the outside (optionally also with cinnamon)
